~ Service Project: (flier on Youth Ministry website)
"Kid's Night Out"
Friday May 18th from 6:30 - 9:30pm
Purpose: to serve the parents of CBC by watching their children, upto 5th grade, by the teens in our youth ministry so the kid's can spend time with the teens and parents have some free time.
If you are interested in helping, please contact Pastor Ken
~ Mall Madness will be held on Wednesday May 30 from 6 - 8:30pm for Senior and Junior High.
~ Keswick is June 1 - 3. Deadline to sign up is May 16.

Just wanted to invite you to volunteer at the HOPS Challenger Baseball program starts on Saturday, April 14th from 8:30am to 10:00am at the Jack Cust turf fields on Rt 31 North next to HealthQuest and every saturday after that thru June 20th.
Volunteers are asked to register at www.hunterdonoutreach.org
What is "Student Life" and when they meet:
• "Foundation" ~ 9-10am Sundays --> Student Life (Growth and Discipleship for ALL teens; essentially like Sunday School).
• CORE ~ 6:30-8:30pm, 1 and 3 Sunday Nights, Jr HI at Shawn and Deb Thomas' home and Sr HI at Eric and Kim Davis' home. -->
CORE is a focused Bible course)
- Eric and Kim Davis: “Truth Project”
- Shawn and Deb Thomas (with PK): “Following Jesus”
• Gathering ~ 6:30 - 8:30, 2 and 4 Sunday Nights at CBC. --> Gathering (fellowship, friend- friendly).
• IMPACT ~ 7 - 8:30 on Wednesday Nights at CBC --> Impact is discipleship, building relationships. Focus: Prayer, Scripture memory, Bible Study & Application, Game Time.

This Year & Beyond…
Know your Mission
- What are we known for at Calvary?
- At Calvary Bible Church we will be known for helping Teens love Jesus and they will be given ways to learn about and serve Jesus through the local church and beyond.
Growth Environments (All Youth Meetings and Events have purpose)
- Sunday Morning & Small Groups = a place to grow, and be disciples, learn to love one another.
- What we need are F.A.T. Teens
- Faithful
- Available
- Teachable
Because they …
- Love God
- Have the Same Vision
- Are Submissive to the Authority God has put over them.
When will this happen?
- Over the next 4 – 5 years the ministry will show:
- People who love Jesus
- People who love others (Christian will love and care for other Christians, and Christians will love non-Christians as God does).
- Ready for the World with a MISSION (Jesus has given us a Mission for this life!).
What are Our Values?
- Presenting Jesus as THE option among many options!
- The Church is significant and the Word is the truth!
- Commitment is necessary as a follower of Jesus!
What we want Teens to have:
- Authentic Faith (Proverbs 3:5-6)
- Spiritual Disciplines (Romans 12:1-2)
- Moral Boundaries (1 Thessalonians 4:3-8)
- Healthy Friendships (Proverbs 13:20)
- Making Wise Choices (Ephesians 5:15-17)
- God is the Ultimate Authority (Romans 13:1- 2)
- Put Others First (Philippians 2:3-11)
Why? We are preparing YOU to leave home and church in order to live productive, God glorifying lives. While you are here, my challenge to you is, How will you show your love? What do YOU want Calvary to be known for? What will YOU be known for?
We live in a great place and at a great time (both God has done), what will you do with this great opportunity?
